Sketches!!

These aren't set in stone but these are the designs I have in mind...peace & love!

This one is a satin cream skirt with a band of black sequins that then trickle down at certain places.

  1. Ooooo!
There is sooo much potential in this piece.
I see it as a fun, flirty, yet edgy short skirt.
It has subtle pleating underneath the band and the "trickle" emphasizes certain pleats. The pleats give way to a delicate puffy or bell shape.
Make sense? No.. Let's use good ol' F21 as reference..

This first link shows what I mean about the subtle pleating that maybe give meaning to it's shape...

The second link gives a more visual cue of what the length and overall shape I was referring too.. (P.S. I actually have this skirt and it's fab!)

  2. LOL I love your references and the idea of the slight pleating...I will take that into consideration.

But I was hoping to make this piece more elegant rather than edgy. What do you think?

  3. i think it all depends on how it is paired. a funky top and flats would make it more edgy but heels and a cute blouse would make it more elegant and demure
