I stumbled upon this dress about two years ago and am still in love with it!!! I can't imagine tackling a replica of this Badgley Mischka gown any time soon, but some time in the future I hope this create my own version of this yellow satin wonder :-) (the one at the bottom.It looks like with a few practice projects under my belt, I'd be able to complete this with some ease.

ReplyDeleteThat dress is just so simplistically and subtly beautiful. And I'm not one to go towards the yellow palette too much, but that color is just right.. demure yet the applique on the torso just gives it the right contrast and the right dynamic..
Maybe it's just entire ensemble.. the hair and the make-up.
She's selling and I'm buying.

i have trouble liking pale yellows when it come to clothing. there are very few people that can pull it off. luckily ashley (i am assuming frankie here is correct lol) manages to do so. and unlike her sister the hemline stops in the right place so that the dress isn't overwhelming on her small frame. i would even do a shorter hemline on u because u have the bum adn the legs to pull that off :)
